The Folks Music Rocks The Stage of Freedom Park

It is never a dull moment at Freedom Park.

On Friday, 26th May at FP, music enthusiasts from across the world will assemble to relish the fantastic sound of a group of young and vigorous folks with remarkable track records over a period of time.

These young lads have shared the same stage with notable musicians including Etuk Ubong, Majeed and the rising neo-afrobeat star, Made Kuti.

The Folks Music will be rocking the stage of Freedom Park, this Friday from 5PM till about 11:30PM, and will be starring some fellow musicians including King Sobrinno (BIGSHUGA), Bidemi, Tosin Music, Papa Fuete & The Girls, JTTF, Uhunoma, and music to be supplied from the wheels of steel by DJ Ray Bee Browne.

You can be a part of the show with either a regular ticket of N500, VIP for N5,000 or the table of 5 for N20,000.

I have been taken on a guided tour by young Daniel - a gifted tour guide with articulate delivery and excellent knowledge of the site's history. The credit of preserving this history goes to the Government of Lagos State under Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola's leadership, who had the enlightenment to embrace Arch. Theo Lawson's vision to preserve this evidence of colonial correction's history. Well done, all impressive must be supported.
