Just few days after the Presidential and National Assembly general elections, the society remains cool-calm-and-collected, and normalcy restored amidst bitter and mixed reactions emanated from the acclaimed false declaration of the winner of the Presidential election, by the opposition parties.

The Freedom Park, Lagos offers you an evening of music throwback with a Disc Jockey whose milestone has recorded gradual and remarkable success and travelled far and wide across thirty-two (32) states in Nigeria.

The Lad has been the official DJ for Standup Nigeria, ARM Pensions, Freedom Park Lagos, Unchained Vibes Africa, Lagos Book and Arts Festival, Lagos Fringe, Koffi Tha Guru and the host of others.

Valentino has staged fifteen (15) solo shows to his credit and also worked with the Big Brother Nigeria’s Housemates, in the cause of his career.

This evening from 5:00PM, Freedom Park Lagos welcomes you to the Throwback Thursday with DJ Valentino.

I have been taken on a guided tour by young Daniel - a gifted tour guide with articulate delivery and excellent knowledge of the site's history. The credit of preserving this history goes to the Government of Lagos State under Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola's leadership, who had the enlightenment to embrace Arch. Theo Lawson's vision to preserve this evidence of colonial correction's history. Well done, all impressive must be supported.
