Speakers’ Corner for the Black History Month

FreeDr. Temitope Fagunwa is a Marxist historian with a central focus on African economic history in the Department of History and International Studies, Osun State University. He is a budding social justice revolutionary and epistemic-decolonizer. Temitope is a co-founder of the Pan-African Consciousness Renaissance (PACOR-Nigeria) and the Movement of Pan-Afrikanist Students (MOPAS-Nigeria). He is a leading member of the Global Afrikan Congress Intl (Canada) and Afrocentricity International (USA). He has published academic papers and chapters in reputable journals and books, respectively. Temitope has featured on several television and radio talk shows in Nigeria and Ghana. Beyond the academia, he is also the lead vocalist, composer and tenor saxophonist of the Aluta Band – an Afrobeat based musical band.
