Live Jazz and Highlife with Prince Eji Oyewole

It’s another Thursday groove at Freedom Park Lagos, with the Veteran and Legendary Saxophonist Prince Eji Oyewole and The Afrobars, this time around.

The 82-year-old and arguably the oldest Nigerian musician yet active, will be dishing out fantastic and soothing sound from Jazz, Afrobeat, Highlife and more, while he is being accompanied by The Afrobars.

A crowned prince who was born to a royal lineage in Ibadan, Oyo State is a flutist, saxophonist and the band leader of The Afrobars. In his experience, he has played with Fela Kuti, Miles Davies, and Bob Marley. You can also find his top songs and albums on Apple Music, and other online music platforms.

Ensure you attend his show at Freedom Park tomorrow to testify to his profile and music dexterity. Gate will be opened from 11:00AM in the morning while the show starts from 5:00PM in the evening. Access fee is N500 per head.

The credit of preserving this history goes to the Government of Lagos State under Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola's leadership, who had the enlightenment to embrace Arch.
