Yes o, December 29, 2023, is a Yuletide evening worth looking forward to, wholesome entertainment wise. According to veteran Yomi OPAKUNLE – Jojo Bodybeats’ Managing Consultant, December 29 2023 would be the 4th Edition of JOURNEY INTO SOUND which is a night of potpourri entertainment by Africa’s Bodiophonist – JOJO BODYBEATS, supported by his artistic friends as side attractions. This journey of creatively unique full entertainment showcase began in 2004 at the then French Cultural Centre. Two (2) years later in 2006, the 2nd edition held at same venue. In 2017, Freedom Park enabled the 3rd edition, which was salutary and generally regarded as different in all shades.

The unique thing about this 4th edition, is that it’s a culmination of all experiences sojourn of Jojo Bodybeats (who began as a solo act, but now leads his own unique band), spanning stage dance-drama/drumming/tap dance/bodybeats locally and internationally (pan Nigeria, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Benin Republic, Ghana & South Korea) to date and a jumpstart of a regular ANNUAL CONCERT.
Jojo Bodybeats has worked hard conquering the domestic artistic space and now ready more than ever to GO GLOBAL.

Join Jojo and Friends for a thrilling evening experience spiced with entertainment and hilarious fun. You will relish the social and business networking and performances by an Ace Comedian Koffi Tha Guru, Edaoto, the Jazz Sensation of Yinka Davies, Jude Orhorha, Imole Balogun, Ayinke Martins, Wura Samba, Afowoslide Abbey Trombone, featuring a special appearance by Omiiye Gyration Crew.

This edition of JOURNEY INTO SOUND is initiated by ETC Corporate and Media Concepts, and co-sponsored by Freedom Park Lagos, and Double Exclusive.

I have been taken on a guided tour by young Daniel - a gifted tour guide with articulate delivery and excellent knowledge of the site's history. The credit of preserving this history goes to the Government of Lagos State under Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola's leadership, who had the enlightenment to embrace Arch. Theo Lawson's vision to preserve this evidence of colonial correction's history. Well done, all impressive must be supported.
