The Cerebral Musician, Pianist and Musicologist, Durotimi Ikujenyo is the leader of the Age of Aquarius Band and will be having his new music album presentation and concert this weekend. Simply referred to as Duro, a music producer and philosopher.
Duro who will be performing on Saturday evening at the Food Court of Freedom Park, is also featuring Aditya Adetiwa, El Freda, Moradeyo and the saxophonist, Seun Olota in serenading his fans, friends, and family.
He was part of Fela Kuti & Egypt 80 Band, has recorded and produced 7 albums, the latest being ‘Black and White Oha’ and it was released on Africa Day 2022 at the Bogobiri House.
Duro Ikujenyo formed his band in 1985 drawing on philosophical space in the 1950 and awareness from the age of Pisces to Aquarius. He believes that a New Age of Aquarius will move the world into a state of global peace, harmony and end all forms of oppression, poverty, exploitation, especially in the developing world.
