DESCRIPTION:A Doctor of History who doubles as a musician\, saxophonist\, Singer-songwriter and the band leader of ”Aluta Band.” Dr. Temitope Fagunwa is a Marxist historian with a central focus on African economic history in the Department of History and International Studies\, Osun State University. \nHe is a budding social justice revolutionary and epistemic-decolonizer. Temitope is a co-founder of the Pan-African Consciousness Renaissance (PACOR-Nigeria) and the Movement of Pan-Afrikanist Students (MOPAS-Nigeria). He is a leading member of the Global Afrikan Congress Intl (Canada) and Afrocentricity International (USA). \nHe has published academic papers and chapters in reputable journals and books\, respectively. Temitope has featured on several television and radio talk shows in Nigeria and Ghana. Beyond the academia\, he is also the lead vocalist\, composer and tenor saxophonist of the Aluta Band – an Afrobeat based musical band. \nDr. Fagunwa\, otherwise known as Maberu will be performing live alongside his Aluta Band\, at Freedom Park on Friday April 21\, from 6:00PM. The Rebirth and Back On Stage Concert will also feature his fellow musicians including Seyi Solagbade\, Afowoslide\, Santafe\, Segun Asiko\, Steve Moore (Young Orlando)\, Jojo Bodybeats\, Edaoto\, Femi Slide\, and the Jmetzeq Band. \n\n\n\n\nHe is been the Chief Executive Officer\, Creative M Entertainement\, for about 7years\, where they nurtured\, groomed\, and developed young Talents to stardom. Amee’s great musical performances at all Emerald Schools programs both orchestra and choir as Music Director\, spanned from May 2009 till date. \n\n\n\n\n\nA musician and founder of the 25 years old Ame and the Agogo Band\, from March 1996 till December 2021. He is also a Music composer\, arranger\, producer\, instrumentalist\, and ‘Music instructor/Director \n\n\nAmee worked as a Music Teacher at Landmark College\, Ikorodu\, from January 2015 till 2017. He had his National Diploma in Business Administration and Management\, where he obtained a lower credit\, and further studied  Business Administration and Management at the Prestigeous Lagos State University. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHe volunteered as Consultant at Emerald High School\, where he trained\, taught\, and groom children in the act of excellent music performances. \nHis music performances cut across the Felabration concerts at both The African Shrine and Freedom Park Lagos\, over the years\, World Music Day Celebration at the French Cultural Centre Lagos\, and NTA 5. \n\n\n\n\n\nRegular gate fee is N1\,000\, N30\,000 for a table of 3\, and the table for 6 is N50\,000. DESCRIPTION:Omileeyan started out as a Fuji drummer in 1991 under the tutelage of the popular Ara Osan ( Mr Wasiu). Omileeyan describes his brand as Hiplife\, uses percussion instruments like sekere\, talking drum\, agogo\, local flute and others in his music.  \nMr. Gbenga otherwise known as Kenny G discovered Omileeyan as an Afro beat vocalist in 1996. This led the newly discovered singer to form a band with his dear friend Samuel Sodeke former Lagbaja’s Pianist. The band played all genres of music from 1999 to 2004 while he was a member.  \nIn keeping up with the times\, the Ondo State native of Ese Odo LGA who alludes Sunny Okosun\, Fela Anikulapo Kuti\, Eddy Okota\, Bob Marley as some of his biggest influences\, is keeping things fresh as he and his LatiAfrika Vibr8brass Band do not limit themselves to just afrobeat.  \nOmileeyan also composes and plays other genres of music.
