But certainly\, you will come into our space and by accident ram into a considered massive show to relish a value you have not bargained for\, with your token. Unlike many other spaces where you would pay through your nose to attend a show\, in a bid to maximize the value for your money. Historically and consistently\, Freedom Park Lagos has been a platform encouraging the growth\, development and the conservation of arts and culture\, including music and entertainment. Certainly\, many music enthusiasts would not have the opportunity to witness the scintillating performances of the A-list Artistes billed to be on this show\, if not for the support of Freedom Park Lagos. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFaze was a memeber of the defunct Plantashun Boiz\, a Nigerian Hip-hop and R&B music group. It consisted of 2face Idibia\, Faze and Blackface. The group was formed during their college years in Enugu\, at the Institute of Management and Technology (I.M.T Enugu)\, Eastern Nigeria. The group moved down to Lagos where they gained popularity and with the inclusion of new member Faze at the time it was a formidable team. It didn’t take long before a chance meeting with Tony Tetuila another Nigerian ex-member of The Remedies led to further exposure of the group and eventual release of their first album as Plantashun Boiz in the year 2000. \n\n\nThe group however split up after the exit of 2 Face who wanted a solo career on the platform of Kennis Music at the time\, this didn’t go down well with the other members of the group\, but they moved on and each released their individual single albums first with 2 Face and then Blackface followed by Faze. These albums were successful\, and Nigerians kept anticipating more from them even as many hoped for their reunion.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe group was managed by Owoyemi Akinwale Nathaniel (Natz)\, Ifeanyi Oji (Odogwu)\, and Obasi Leonard (Baba Leo). As a result of the Plan B reunion album\, Plantashun Entertainment Limited Management was born in 2007. The Plan B album was distributed by T Joe. They were active from late 1990s\, early/mid 2000s\, 2007\, 2014 and beyond.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter the split of the Plantashun Boyz in 2004\, Faze signed to Solomon Arueya’s Westside Music Label of Lagos\, Nigeria\, to produce his first solo album titled Faze Alone. The album achieved platinum status with sales of 1.2 million units in its first month. \nHis brand of music called universal flavor – a fine blend of R&B\, Reggae\, Pop\, Dancehall\, Ragga and Soul\, all with an African undertone was further popularized by the release of the album. In 2006 Faze released his sophomore album “Independent”. The year 2008 witnessed the release of the third studio album from Faze. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn Friday\, 1st of December this year\, Live and Wavy\, Yaw Naija Entertainment\, in conjunction with Independent Entertainment will be staging a Legend Concert with Faze and Friends. DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Felabration Committee at Freedom Park\, I am excited to extend an invitation to the general public for Felabration 2023 – an incredible annual celebration of the iconic Nigerian musician and human rights activist\, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. \nFelabration is not just a festival; it’s a movement that reverberates the essence of Afrobeat\, a genre that Fela introduced and popularized. As a platform that champions social justice\, freedom\, and pan-Africanism\, Felabration intertwines music\, art\, culture\, and education into a week-long event that embodies Fela’s values. \nScheduled to take place from Monday\, 9th October to Sunday\, 15th October. Felabration 2023 will unfold at the vibrant Freedom Park in Lagos. We are expecting a diverse crowd of over 5\,000 attendees\, uniting from Nigeria and around the globe. The festival will feature electrifying performances by both local and international artists\, captivating exhibitions\, and more. \nThis year will mark the 85th posthumous birthday and 26 years after the demise of Fela Anikulapo Kuti. The Felabration  Committee for Freedom Park plans to have intellectual and fun engaging presentations of Documentaries\, Exhibitions\, Music\, Arts & Culture aptly sub-themed “UNDERGROUND SYSTEM”. The title of Fela’s last album (1992) demonstrates the resilience of the human spirit.
