It is no news that the maiden edition was also held at the same venue on the 28th of January earlier this year\, and the event was well attended. The objective of this tournament is to encourage and promote young and upcoming boxing champions in Nigeria\, which will be held quarterly. \nThis sophomore edition in partnership with Freedom Park and Lagos Boxing Initiative\, and it is sanctioned by the Nigerian Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC)\, is a bid to celebrate Nigeria’s democracy and to express the anxiety of a renewed hope by the new democratic administration. \nOn Monday\, 12th of June\, Freedom Park will receive the influx of professional boxers\, and enthusiasts who are either participating in the tournament or attending to enjoy the sporting event. You can obtain your ticket ahead of the event or make a reservation. Regular tickets are available for N1\,000 each. \nYou might not understand when a musician sings ”Ese o pa niyan loju e ri (x2) ese ese o\, ese o ese ma npa niyan.” You need to come and see for yourself. The anniversary celebration will flow throughout the day\, from 10AM till 4PM for the Childrens’ Fun Fair\, and then the Dance Concert will emerge from 6PM till about 11:30PM. Music will be supplied by both DJ Ray Bee Browne and DJ Valentino on the wheels of steel. \nOther side attractions include our fishpond\, basketball court\, volleyball and badmington court\, table tennis\, and snooker board. \nFreedom Park is always opened from 11:00AM daily\, but the program starts from 12:00Noon and will run through the evening for kids and till the night for adults. Access fee is N500 for Children and N1\,000 for adults.
